4 Three things you need to get right to build your perfect body: Training – To create enough stimulus for growth. Nutrition – To provide nutrition (muscle building diet) to aid in muscle growth. Rest – To recover and come back stronger. Figuring out my way around the gym was easier for me. For not only I hired a trainer from whom I learned the correct exercises, posture, and how to create enough stimulus for growth. But also I was always inquisitive from day one and cleared my basics. Bodybuilding isn't a great science if you observe carefully, follow the basics and experiment what works for you. Everything comes to you naturally thereafter. Bodybuilding basics: Don't exercise, TRAIN! Weightlifting over Cardio Compound movements over Isolated training Train for Strength My trainer wasn't much of a great help when it came to planning a solid muscle building diet. And making food choices was puzzling but after much reading, consultation, experimentation, and observation (because that's what you have to do) I cracked nutrition.

Hey so I have been powerlifting for the past few months and have basically fallen in love with the sport. I have been progressing decently and have worked my way up to a 1200 lbs total (my bench suffers) at 195 lbs body weight. Anyways, ever since I got my dog ~3 years ago I have looked at life in a completely new light and in short I have been thinking about going vegan or vegetarian with free range dairy products (or something along those lines). I also would like to become an animal abuse investigator/officer one day. I was wondering if anyone has any experience from going from a "normal" diet to a vegan or vegetarian diet while weightlifting/bodybuilding/powerlifting? Also if you could give me some tips on foods/recipes and if I can continue to see increases in my lifts and positive results while remaining natural. Thanks!
