Hi guys, my question is: A lot of people run out of steam and end up gradually reverting back to their old way of eating. If this happens, is it better though to still focus on including high fat foods in the diet and restricting carb intake as much as possible? Or is it an all or nothing type scenario? Obviously there are serious health implications of eating a high fat AND high carb diet eg. McDonald's everyday. So If you've made the decision to going back to including some carbs in your diet, should you may as well just go back to eating a regular carbohydrate-based diet? Instead of trying to stay close to keto but not actually be in ketosis? Or is being half way between keto and carb-based still a healthier/better option over reverting back to a standard "healthy" (as the guidelines would define it) carb-based diet of moderate-high carbs/protein and lower fat? Hope this makes sense. Any comments appreciated Thanks Edit: some background on why I would want to consume a carb-based diet over keto - I'm a 24 year old male and I struggle to put on any weight on keto.
